Spring is coming! Trends I can't wait to wear :D

So the exams are over and I've been sitting my butt down in front of the computer and watch Sherlock/Once upon a time/How I met your mother looking at the new spring collection of some of my favourite brands. And omg I'm so excited for spring and summer to come! (though that means lots of going to the gym to lose the extra weight I put on from eating so much during winter, no kidding T_T)

There was this ONE sakura tree in full blossom in Ueno park already :)) guess spring is not far! Though I woke up snow again today...

Anyway I thought I'd share some of my favourite co-ordinates and points this season.
 (is that what you call that in English? I find myself speaking Japanese-English so frequently recently lol)

Most of these pictures are from the lookbooks for 2014 S/S but everything else is from here where they have shop staff take pictures of their co-ordinates.

First up! Off-shoulder tops-- Enough of the cold, time to keep that scarf in the closet and show off some collarbones.

Love the white topxblue bottom look. Especially that gingham skirt, so summer-y!

Gotta love that short hair.

yes I realised it's the same two tops but the model was too cute!

Looks like pastel colours and stripes (or "ボーダー(border)", as they like to call it) are going to be big this summer :))

Next, Sweaters/pullovers are back again this season as well. Sweaters don't have to look like pajamas anymore. A pullover with a random english word in the center is the thing to be wearing, and dressing them up with a nice pair of pants/pencil skirt seems to be the in thing :O ...time to tone up my butt ;o;

I love that set up on the right so much I'm probably going to wear that a lot. So easy and stylish and the best thing is that I already have all of that in my closet hehe.

Also, while last summer was full of "director-maki" (no, it is not a kind of sushi), we'll probably see lots of "koshi(waist)-maki" this season.

So cool how instead of just tying the sleeves together you could roll up them up together like in the left pic! small things like that make me feel  おしゃれ (oh-sha-re, kind of means stylish) hahaha.

I thought tying checked shirts at the waist was kind of an old thing but it looks like its back. Though this time tying them on top of a nice pair of long pants could be the trend instead of just pairing them on top of shorts or skirts.

Okay I'm gonna stop here for now but there are sooo many nice trends this season! Maybe I'll make another post soon ;)
