Vending machine that sells packs of sliced fresh apples! Japan's love of healthy foods can be seen even in vending machines. But expensive at 180y a pack. I could buy 2 apples with that haha.
Now this may look like a normal hot drink vending machine. But it actually sells ginger lemon tea and even onion soup (my a very good smell when someone brings it to class though lol).
Next is Soy Joy only vending machine! Japanese people and soybeans and efficiency. 'Nuff said.
And last but not least, the cigarette vending machine! Vending machines =/= food. For those who need a quick puff. To buy cigarettes from vending machines though, you need a special card that's approved by authorities to prove that you're of age. And you scan the card where that red box is. Cool stuff. These are almost just as common as drink machines so you can kinda guess how much people smoke.
There are also like ice cream vending machines and all sorts of stuff! Maybe I should make a series of vending machine posts and try to catch 'em all hehe.
